How Live Well Restoration handles information in Project AKWA (“AKWA”), the internal operations platform used by our team to coordinate restoration work.
Last updated: June 30, 2026
1. Overview
Project AKWA (“AKWA”) is a private, internal business application operated by Live Well Restoration (“we”, “us”, “our”). It is used by our authorized staff and subcontractors to coordinate restoration jobs we perform for our client, including scheduling, field documentation, and billing support. AKWA is not a consumer product, is not offered to the general public, and is not directed to children. This policy explains what information AKWA processes and how we handle it.
2. Information we process
- Account information. When you sign in with your organization Google Workspace account, we receive your name, email address, profile image, and the fact of successful authentication. Access is restricted to approved email domains.
- Operational and business records. Job, customer, property, purchase-order, scheduling, equipment, and invoicing records used to run our work. Much of this data concerns our client and the properties and residents we service, and is processed on our client's behalf under our services agreement.
- Connected-system content. AKWA imports data from the systems we already use to run jobs — exported records from our dispatch system, read-only data from our CRM, and the email threads that drive each job (see “Email access”, below).
- Field-submitted content. Information our technicians enter from the job site, such as work-day notes, daily progress updates, scope and equipment entries, time entries, and photographs of the work and conditions.
- Log and device data. Standard technical data such as IP address, device/browser type, and timestamps, used to operate, secure, and audit the service.
AKWA maintains an audit trail of changes (including automated changes) so that actions can be reviewed and attributed.
3. Email access (read-only)
AKWA connects to a Google Workspace mailbox using read-only Gmail access in order to recognize and file the operational email threads that drive each job, and to extract job-lifecycle facts (such as purchase orders, start dates, and approvals). AKWA never sends, replies to, deletes, labels, or otherwise modifies email.
AKWA's use of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. We do not use Google user data for advertising, and we do not sell it or transfer it to others except as needed to provide and secure the service, to comply with law, or as part of a merger or acquisition.
4. How we use information
- To operate AKWA and coordinate restoration work — scheduling, field documentation, status tracking, and billing support.
- To keep job records current and surface what needs attention (alerts, daily updates, and follow-up drafts that a person reviews and sends).
- To secure the service, prevent abuse, and maintain an audit trail.
- To comply with legal obligations and enforce our agreements.
We do not use this information for advertising, and we do not sell personal information.
5. How information is shared
- Service providers (processors). We use trusted vendors to host and run AKWA — including cloud infrastructure and storage providers and Google Workspace for authentication and email access. They process data only on our instructions.
- Our client. Operational data we process on our client's behalf is handled in accordance with our services agreement with them.
- Legal and safety. We may disclose information if required by law or to protect rights, safety, or the integrity of the service.
- Business transfers. Information may be transferred as part of a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, subject to this policy.
We do not sell or rent personal information to third parties.
6. Data retention
We retain information for as long as needed to operate the service, meet our business and legal obligations, support our client relationship, and resolve disputes. Business and audit records may be retained for the periods required by our agreements and applicable law.
7. Security
We protect information using measures appropriate to its sensitivity, including encryption in transit, access restricted to authorized personnel on a need-to-know basis, scoped credentials, and audit logging. No system can be guaranteed perfectly secure, but we work to protect information against unauthorized access, alteration, and loss.
8. Your choices and rights
Because AKWA is an internal tool, account access is managed by Live Well Restoration. If you are a member of our team and want to access, correct, or delete your account information, contact your administrator or us at the address below. Requests concerning data we process on our client's behalf are handled together with our client under our services agreement. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under applicable privacy laws; contact us to exercise them.
9. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date above, and material changes will be communicated to affected users where appropriate.
